drifting

just checked back and noticed that I've already been here 5 months.

this odd journey into different protocols, resisting smoothness, critical.

after following discussions about tilde servers for a while and trying to understand the processes for setting one up, I requested access at tilde.institute. I haven't got the hang of it yet. I do have a small gopher phlog running there - which is roughly the same half-thoughts as posted here.

i'm adjusting to the space left without scrolling. When I logged in to flounder initially, I had hoped that gemini might provide space for a change in thinking about my internet habits, and it has done. I've made changes to those habits as well. The part I am finding most difficult is a connection to local IRL folks, and participation in those spaces.
